Element Coolroom Insulation Panels (cold storage insulation board) are composed of color steel facing layer and polyurethane (PU) insulation core material, with a standard width of 1 meter, and customizable thickness (50~300mm) and length. The PU core material has a high closed porosity (≥90%), low thermal conductivity (0.022 W/m·K), excellent thermal insulation and moisture-proof performance, suitable for -50℃~110℃ environment, and widely used in freezers, pharmaceutical cold chain, etc. Compared with EPS and rock wool, PU has lower thermal resistance, light weight and easy installation (hook lock design), but the fire protection must reach B1 level. When purchasing, you need to choose according to the temperature (≥100mm is recommended below -18℃), fire protection requirements and finishing materials (such as food-grade stainless steel), and look for FM/CE certified suppliers.
