Products Description

Element manufactures Pu Panels for Cold Rooms using 0.5mm PPGI (Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron) sheets. Thicknesses from 50-250mm can be customized. Panel density is always 40-42 kg/m³. Standard widths are 1120 mm/1000/950 mm. Any RAL color is available upon request. The panel interface features Camlock (Tongue & Groove) with a built-in gasket for a tight, energy-efficient seal, ensuring quick and secure installation. Standard machine-made panels are also available.

How to produce the cold storage panel?

 

Dual-Sided Pre-Coated Metal Facings
Selected galvanized or color-coated steel (0.4-0.8mm) undergoes degreasing, dusting, and dual-sided anti-corrosion coating pretreatment.

 

Precise PU Raw Material Formulation
Polyol and isocyanate are mixed at a precise 1:1.05 ratio with eco-friendly blowing agents (e.g., cyclopentane), flame retardants, and catalysts.

 

Continuous High-Pressure Lamination & Foaming
Synchronized, aligned facings are injected with the mixture via high-pressure (150-200bar) foaming machines and pressed through dual conveyors (50-200mm adjustable spacing) at 40-60°C for curing.

 

Controlled Curing & Mandatory Performance Tests
Panels are cured for 24 hours at 20-25°C and 50-60% RH, then tested for core density (≥40kg/m³), thermal conductivity (≤0.024W/m·K), and compressive strength (≥200kPa).

 

Critical Performance & Dimensional Standards
Final product must achieve closed-cell content ≥95%, fire rating ≥B1 (GB8624), and tight dimensional tolerances (±2mm length/width, ±1mm thickness).

 

Precision CNC Cutting & Protective Packaging
Continuous slabs are precisely cut (±0.5mm) and trimmed by CNC, then packaged in moisture-proof PE film and palletized with a maximum stack height of 1.5m.
