Factory Workshop
The production of roll-up doors starts with creating the curtain. Coiled steel is cut and fed through a roll-forming machine. This machine presses the metal into the individual slat profiles, including their interlocking hooks and strengthening ribs.
These metal slats then undergo surface treatment. They are often cleaned and treated with a phosphate coating. After this, a powder coat is applied using an electrostatic process and cured in an oven to create a tough, finished layer.
For insulated doors, two formed slats are assembled to create a hollow chamber. This cavity is filled with liquid polyurethane foam. The foam expands and hardens completely, forming a solid core that provides both thermal insulation and structural strength.
The final and most critical stage is assembly and balancing. The slats are connected by hinges to form a continuous curtain. It is then mounted onto the barrel shaft between the guide rails. Expert technicians carefully adjust the torsion spring to perfectly counterbalance the door's weight for smooth and safe operation.
