Cool Room Sandwich Panels produced and developed by Element Group is a composite panel designed for low-temperature environments. It is usually used in cold chain logistics, food processing and pharmaceutical storage.

 

Cool Room Sandwich Panels usually use color steel plates and stainless steel plates or aluminum plates as the outer layer material, and use PU core material with excellent thermal insulation performance.

 

High-pressure foaming technology is used to bond the core material to the panel to ensure seamlessness, high bonding strength, and avoid cold bridge effect.

 

Special sealing strips are used at the joints of the panels to prevent cold air leakage and external moisture intrusion. This type of panel is easy to install, fast to construct, and has good results. It is very popular in the cold chain industry.

Metal panel pretreatment

Unwinding: Automatic unwinding of galvanized steel sheet/stainless steel coil

Surface cleaning: Remove oil and impurities (electrostatic dust removal + chemical cleaning)

Laminating/coating: Pre-coating anti-corrosion layer (PE/PVDF) or embossing

Panel shaping and preheating

Use roller forming machine to press the panel into a locking structure (such as male and female grooves, hidden hooks)

Preheat to 40-60℃ (to improve foaming bonding strength)

Polyurethane foam injection

High-pressure foaming machine will isocyanate (ISO) and polyether polyol ( POLY) mixed in proportion

Injected between two layers of metal panels, the reaction expands to fill the cavity (foaming temperature 20-25℃)

Continuous lamination molding

Enter the double-track laminator and mature at 60-80℃ (speed 1.5-4m/min)

Pressure control: 0.2-0.4MPa to ensure uniform core material density (standard 38-45kg/m³)

Fixed-length cutting and trimming

Infrared positioning automatic cutting (accuracy ±1mm)
